Environmental educationˇ]EEˇ^ is our mainly characteristic. Pu-Dingˇ¦s curriculum bases on environmental education. We emphases the energy-saving, carbon dioxide-reducing and outdoor field trip to be important issues for developing the curriculum of EE. We integrate the textbook school related with environmental issues to a set of theme instructions and infuse the environmental issues like as energy-saving, carbon dioxide-reducing to a set of extra lesson plans, we also visit the private EE organizations of education where locate at Pu-Ding community to process the outdoor field trip. One is Zhang Xiang farm that focuses on how to recycle kitten waste to become the fertilization, the other is vigor and healthy farm that focuses on biological diversity.

We also provide different kinds of extra activities to students for choosing and developing their potential ability, we have Tai-quan-dao, Skating, Baseball, Hakka talking, student band, cooking and sowing, chess, sport, calligraphy and reading.

Every year we usually host a main school-wide activities base on environmental issues, for example we host the show of environmental protection to mach up the environmental day of local community in the fall of 2006 and appeal the residents and studentsˇ¦ parent to clean up the beach for matching up the earth day on 22 April of 2007,even though we celebrate the 40 anniversary of school birthday with the traditional culture of farm 1 June of 2008. We truly believe that environmental education is the best way to cultivate the students with nice character.
